Unfortunately, lags in time to delivery for list server email is normal, especially during periods of heavy email traffic. List server mail is always given "bulk mail" priority in the queues of mail to be serviced by relaying servers.
In the last 48 hours, there has been a large amount of virus traffic going through everybody's mail servers, so that complicates message routing while some mail servers are off line or overwhelmed. One solution, :-), is to read your list server mail less frequently, so that messages have more time to catch up.
