I have Rbase for DOS 6.1 running on Novell 5.1. All
software is on the network and up to 100 people access
various databases from various PCs.

I can successfully access the dos version with PCs
which have been converted to Windows 2000. With new
Compaq EVOs and Portable Toshibas, I am getting the
error "The server network access control file has been
damaged- reinstall." When I access the server6.rbg
file via rbadmin using one of these newer Windows 2000
PCs, it tells me the file is damaged. When I access
the same server file with any other PCs including PCs
which are older, but have been converted to Windows
2000, the file is fine.

I have copied the software over and replaced the server
file just to try it out, and I get the same thing.
This is a function of these newer models and Windows
2000.

Has anyone run into this before? Am I dead in the
water?

Thanks
