Dan, "Please tell me if it did or didn't work. I believe the problem is with the filename itself."
I tested this on a Windows 2000 Pro SP2 and Rbase version 6.5++ 1.842xRT03! It works fine with launch test.bat test.bat has one command in it DIR It doesn't work with launch ftpstart.bat The IE 5.0 activates with a url of ftp://ftpstart.bat if I goto the command line and run ftpstart.bat it works just fine If I change the extension from BAT to CMD it does the same thing. If I type launch ftpstart.bat and no file is present to run it still activates IE 5.0 with the ftpstart.bat as the url address. It also does the same if I change the extension to CMD. I'll try on an XP pro machine later! Best regards, ___________________________________ Oma Cox Office & Computer Services Inc. P.O.
