Dan, You need to verify what program(s) are associated with the file "extension .BAT".
1) open "MY Computer" 2) Click on "View" 3) Then click on "Options" under "View" 4) Click on the "File Types" tab 5) Under "Registered File Types" locate and highlight "MS-DOS Batch File". In the "File Type Details" box the "Opens With" field should show "[EXECUTABLE]". If it doesn't than the program shown will start up when you use the RBase LAUNCH command and/or double click on a file with that time in EXPLORER. -- Jim Bentley American Celiac Society [EMAIL PROTECTED] - email (973) 325-8837 voice (973) 669-8808 Fax ---- Bernie Corrigan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dan - > > I can't replicate this problem under Windows 2000 Pro. > When it > contains the command DIR > LOOKIT, ftpstart.bat performs flawlessly > from the > LAUNCH (RBW 1.851) command at the R> prompt and also does not > launch MSIE. > > Bernie > --------------------------------------- > At 04:56 PM 5/23/2002 -0400, you wrote: > >I thought this would be solved just by sending it off to RDCC. > They claim > >it is not a bug, but rather microsofts problem.
