Hi all,

I am trying to use 2 copies of my RBW6.5++ app sharing the same DB on the
same PC for testing purposes.
Each copy must have a different user name.
So, each copy must 'see' its own RBASE.CFG file.
My problem is that I can't find the proper way to do that because the path
of RBASE.CFG file is stored in RBASE.INI and each copy uses the same
RBASE.INI file.

Is there somewhere a clear paper about this topic ?

On drive D I have :
\RBW65 contains RBW6.5 files (including RBASE.INI and RBASE.CFG)
\RBW65\app contains my app with RBASE.DAT startup file :

SET SCRATCH 'D:\rbw65\temp'
....
RUN init IN init.apx

I run copy 1 thru shortcut 1 :
target D:\RBW65\RBG65.EXE -R ....
start in : D:\RBW65\app

D:\RBW65\RBASE.CFG contains :
...
NAME RBWUSER1

On drive E :
\RBW65 contains RBW6.5 files (including RBASE.INI and RBASE.CFG)
\RBW65\app contains only RBASE.DAT startup file :

SET SCRATCH 'E:\rbw65\temp'
....
CHDRV D:
CD \rbw65\imp
RUN init IN init.apx

I run copy 2 thru shortcut 2 :
target E:\RBW65\RBG65.EXE -R ....
start in : E:\RBW65\app

E:\RBW65\RBASE.CFG contains :
...
NAME RBWUSER2

Problem is that in both copies SHOW NAME show RBWUSER1

Help will be appreciated ....

TIA
