  Thanks for the tip. I'm moving everything over to new servers Friday
evening. I'll wait to see if the same thing happens on the new servers.

I have never seen this, but I remember RBTI Tech Suppport having me
tweek 
some setting for files and buffers when I installed R:tango.  You might
want 
to give them a call.
