To ALL R:BASE 7.0 for Windows Beta Testers:

Tip of The Day: Using Tab Control (Form Designer)

Using The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows Form Designer:

01. Use the "Tab Control" option under Additional Controls to design
     Tabbed Form.

02. Set Tab Height to control the height of the tabs that appear
above the client region of the tab control. The Tab Height
property is the vertical size in pixels of the individual tabs.
If Tab Height is set to 0 (default), the tab automatically size
     themselves to fit their text.

03. Use the font property to specify the font characteristics used
to display the caption for each tab.

04. Use attributes (Ragged Right, Scroll Opposite, Multi-line or
Hot Track to display the tabs layout.

Use Ragged Right to get or set whether rows of tabs stretch to fill
     the width of the control.

Set Scroll Opposite to determine where previous rows of tabs in a
multi-line tab control move when the user selects a tab in another row.
When Scroll Opposite is checked, previous rows of tabs are moved to
the bottom of the tab control if Tab Position is set to Top, or if Tab
Position is set to Bottom. When Scroll Opposite is not checked,
previous rows of tabs are moved to the back of all other rows of tabs.

For example, in a tab control with three rows of tabs at the top, if the
user selects a tab in the second row, Scroll Opposite determines where
the first row moves. If Scroll Opposite is checked, the second row now
appears at the front (bottom) row on top of the tab control, followed by
the third row behind (above) it. The first row moves to the bottom of the
tab control. If Scroll Opposite is not checked, the first row moves to
the
back (top), so that the tab control displays the second row in front
(at the
bottom of the tab region), followed by the third row (now in the middle),
     followed by the first row.

05. Use Position (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) for tab position.

06. Use Style (Tabs, Buttons, Flat Buttons) for tab style.

07. Use "New Page" to add a new tab, "Next Page" to switch to next tab,
"Previous Page" to switch to previous tab, "Goto" to switch directly to
     any tab from the list.

08. Use individual tab "Page Index" property to re-arrange tab order.

Have Fun Playing with The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
