Our company has gone live with sending our invoices through RBase via email and faxing... Thanks to everyone for their previous help, I love it when I can prove that with RBase I can do anything they request !
Now for the next project that has been requested.... Our company handles over a thousand bill of ladings a day, all of which are signed by the truck drivers as they pick up their products. Many customers require us to fax SIGNED copies of these bill of ladings to them as proof of delivery. So now building on our email and faxing system we would like to include the capability of being able to do the same for B/L's. But the obvious problem is sending them a signature... Scanning in the B/L's would be just as time consuming as faxing them.. So my thought is to do something like the department stores or even Fedex does in having a pad on the counter and then having the driver sign on the pad and capturing that signature. Then I can create code to link it and print it through RBase. Has anyone does this before? what type of equipment/vendor do you use? problems, hints, even example code, Any help or ideas are welcome and appreciated ! -- Frank Conroy [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Systems Network Administrator -- F.J.
