Dennis, Have you tried RECALC TABLES after your RECALC VAR
Richard (Ringo) Starkey -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Dennis Fleming Sent: Wednesday, June 26, 2002 1:08 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Calendar, columns, and variables With the new calendar and 6.5++, my user can pop-up a date and choose it, but I've struggling with a two-table Add form. On top, the column date is on the form as a variable: vmydate and in form variables I have column: mydate = .vmydate and in calendar.eep I have: SET VAR vmydate = (Getdate("Select Date")); RECALC VAR and all is fine. In the lower tiered region, the column "mydate" exists but is not updated, nor displayed, and I can't set: mydate = .vmydate since it is already defined in the upper table. My kludge is to have "mydate" defined in the tiered region and have the forground and background the same color. I'm sure there a non-kludge better solution, but I'm stuck. (The date column is Not Null, so I can't update it after adding.)
