Rich, In the last few days there was a thread discussing VIEWS. Consider the following: * Did you use CREATE VIEW viewname (colnames...) AS SELECT syntax? * Were any of the columns in the VIEW expressions?
RBase may not be storing the datatype you expect for each columns in a VIEW, especially if that columns is the result of an expression. I posted a SELECT statement which shows you how RBase has determined the datatype for each columns in a VIEW. If you havent saved that SELECT statement e-mail me off the list and I will send it to you. -- Jim Bentley American Celiac Society [EMAIL PROTECTED] - email (973) 325-8837 voice (973) 669-8808 Fax ---- "J.
