Running RBWIN 1.852xRT02
We have an automated process that runs on a Win2k server. Every 15 seconds
it wakes up and runs an R:Base job. During the execution of the R:Base
job, perhaps one out of every 400 or 500 executions, the job gets the
"Waiting for access to required resource" message. The message hits 25%
and sits there, never clearing itself or progressing beyond 25%. Now the
automated task is stalled, waiting for a click on the Cancel button.
Two questions:
1. What types of things can cause this message in the first place?
2. Why doesn't it ever clear itself from the screen? Is there a way to
suppress the message or cause it to automatically clear so as to not stall
the job?
Any insight most appreciated.
