Eric, Is the printer shared on a network? We recently added an XP workstation to our network, and have discovered that it's not just R:Base. Many applications cannot print correctly from XP to a printer installed on an NT workstation and shared, nor can NT workstations print to a printer shared from the XP workstation.
We've been through tech support at Brother, Lexmark, Canon, HP, and all say the same thing: for almost all their printers, upgrade our NT workstations, or forget sharing. From XP, I can print many things to an old HP, but some effects don't work. I can't switch to landscape. I can't print my calendar. I have to go to a different workstation to print those items.
