Umm, Bernie, may I ask, what should one do when this happens?  Would it be
appropriate to PACK the INDEX(es), PACK ALL, RELOAD, DROP INDEX &
(re-)CREATE?  I ask not only f/me, although I've never seen this one, but
moreso f/"Bjorn".
