J.M.,

Remember, it is NEVER too late to bring your 6.1a apps
and databases to The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++)!
Then, of course, you'll be ready for the upcoming,
Next Generation, Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows!

Before you do anything:

01. Make sure all forms are 100% working in 6.1a for
Windows.

02. Check database IDQUOTES SETting. If NULL, then
set to '`' reversed single quote.

03. RELOAD the database

04. Before using the Form Designer and Form Runtime in
6.5++, make sure to pre-define ALL variables with
CORRECT data types accordingly.

05. If in a WHILE .. ENDWHILE loop, make sure that all
variables are pre-defined with correct data types.

06. While testing, make sure to turn MESSAGES ON and
ERROR MESSAGES ON.

Good luck!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
