Bob,

I have gotten that error (or similar) when I had a form with some 
number of variables as expressions that did lookups in views that 
were also expression rich (I think temp views, though it may not 
matter).

It would seem that the form and the views were sharing expression 
space. Moving expressions back and forth between the views and 
form made no difference... ended up loading a temp table with 
some of the view results to solve the problem.
