Steve 1. Make copy of database.
2. Try reloading the database. I think R:Base will see that as illegal table name and not reload it. 3. If it does not work with the reload then try DROP TABLE ALL answer no until you get the table you want to drop Hope this helps Buddy -----Original Message----- From: Fogelson, Steve [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 12:33 PM To: R:Base User Group (E-mail) Subject: Database problem Running R:Base 6.5++ (1.851xRT03) on a Windows 2000 Pro Work Station. I added a field to a table1. When saving table1, R:Base locked up. When I restart and open up that DB, I see an extra table2 with a name of numbers. Table2 is exactly the same as table1 except it does not have the additional field. I tried to delete table2 and it could not because another table3 uses the id of the table1 or table2 as a foreign key. I deleted the FK in the table3 and then the field in table3 that references the id of table1 or table2. Tryed to save. R:Base locked up. Now when I restart I have 2 extra files. Help!!!
