Bernie, Con IS ambiguous as CONTINUE is also a command.
Fil could probably be fixed. I never use the shortcuts anymore. The code is SO much easier to read longhand. I remember that in 2.11 it was advantagous to use the abvreviations because the code ran faster. That is just not the case anymore. And isn't it nice that RSTYLE tells you up front that it is confused so you can adjust your code rather than expand to the wrong word? Once you have all your code spiffed up you will never want to go back. -- Dennis McGrath mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Tools for R:BASE programmers http://www.enteract.com/~mcgrath/dennis -- Full time consultant with SQL Resources mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Bernard Lis Sent: Monday, August 19, 2002 1:31 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Rstyle -- ambiguous command Rstyle doesn't seem to recognize 3 letter commands. con results in ambiguous command so does fil if I change con to conn, it recognizes it and changes it to connect. It would be nice if this could be fixed so it would result in less error output.
