Dennis: I frequently use different settings, although the opposite of what you found in the database (Format = MM/DD/YYYY, Sequence = MMDDYY). The reason is: I always want four digits on output for clarity. However, I find R:Base Year and Century setting work fine for allowing users to enter two digit years when four digits are not necessary. -- Larry ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/
