I tried and couldn't make it work. Here's what R:Syntax says:

"You can associate a form with up to five views. For example, you can
build a form that displays information from two views. Follow these
guidelines when you add views to a form:

Forms based on single-table views can be used to insert, delete, update,
and view data. Forms based on multi-table views can only be used to
update or view data.
You can build a form that is associated with both views and tables.
Views cannot be updated in a form if they were created using the GROUP
BY or ORDER BY commands or the UNION operator.
You can use a view in forms with other tables or views only if aliases
are used for column names. You can use aliases in Query By Example, or
with the CREATE VIEW command using the collist option. For more
information, see "Creating A Query" earlier, and refer to the "CREATE
VIEW" entry in the Online Syntax Reference. "

Subject: Tran Detail View

G'day,

Anyone managed to get a two table view to be an editable
detail table in a tiered region in R:BASE for Windows 6.5++?

Warmest regards,

Tom Grimshaw
