G'day, Firstly, many thanks to all who responded, both on and off the list, to my plea for assistance regarding getting eeps to update variables and columns in a tiered region.
In the end I gave up on the idea of getting eeps to do the work. Every time I solved one problem it created another. I ended up setting a bunch of var on the form, it now works like a charm. I also abandoned the idea of using variables and resetting them to null on row entry as it means you cannot go back to a prev row without resetting the data to null. One client accepted it, another baulked and the end result of not doing it is far superior. If I get the chance I will write it up for RBTI (the eeps not updating the table for the row in the region and the eep on entry to field one being run on exit from the row\form) but if I don't, those testing the latest beta might wish to test the scenario described if they have implemented it.
