I remember reading old threads about slow processing and looked back, but never found the answer. I looked on the archive and it didn't date back far enough. If I copy the database from the LAN to my local harddrive and run an application, it runs quickly, but if I run it from the LAN, it slows it down by at least four times. I just recently switched from 5.5 to 6.5++. It didn't take this long on the LAN with 5.5.
