I have never had that problem with dates. It may be because I have a standard practice of treating dates like text and always enclosing them in the current quote character, for thee and me it is single quotes: SELECT <columns> FROM table WHERE date_column BETWEEN '09/01/2002' AND '09/20/2002' >and R:Base >will complain saying Invalid date value.
