I have pondered what would be the best approach to all
this and have seen where you all and all the db's in
a sub-directory is the best approach. Probably would be
even better to put db's is sub-dir named after db, but
that would create a bit more maintainence at the moment
and the time just isn't there..

Again.. a sub-dir will be a lot easier, this also means the
apps and apxs also get their own dir.

Another thought.. What do you refer to the working directory
in the RBase exe shortcut.. Do you stay with the same directory
as exe or is better just to put that dir in path statement and
use the dir the db's are in ???

Hmmm, thinking on this, it's better to have the working directory
as the RBase's exe and then just issue a CHDIR to where the db's are.
Several of our users are use to just getting into a db without
accessing it through an application.

Man, I better swallow my first cup of coffee and think about a
few more things..
