Razzak

OK, I did a little test with RBARCODE.DLL just now to test what you sent me.

1. My RBASE.INI under the [PlugIn] section has the two lines you specify in
your email:

FDRAWDLL0=rbarcode.dll
RDRAWDLL0=rbarcode.dll

2. At the R> prompt, I created a variable:

SET VAR vTest TEXT = '1234567894543'

3. I created a form TEST based on the table BonusRate in the ConComp
database.

4. On the form, I located the vTest variable first just as a straight field.

5. Below it, I located the vTest variable and did the following:

a. Clicked on Custom; a drop down box appeared
b. Clicked on the Drop Down box: RBARCODE was one of the choices and I
selected it.
c. Clicked on OK

6. Saved the form.

7. Typed: EDIT USING TEST

The text field itself shows the variable value, but the bar code field is
blank.

WAIT - I figured it out myself and let it be a lesson to all doubters! I
just made the field location for the bar code bigger and voila, I have a bar
code!!

Thanks Razzak!!
