Having used PAGEMODE in the past I have a few suggestions. You can add
length limits to all your variables such as you have on line 6 of you code,
use UISNG to format all your fields as it appears that some of your fields
are not printing with the right justification. Last, make sure that your
printer (and report) is setup to use a non-proportional font (Courier) , I
have notice that proportional fonts tend to overlap when printed to a file
from Windows, I would try this first.
I hope this information is of help, as I do not know of any one else that
uses PAGEMODE.

Subject: Pagemode problem

Hi all

I have this pagemode report and it has been working
great for over a year. We switched to XP pro months
ago and the report has worked great 3 times in xp (we
only run this report every 2 wks).

Today some of the fields are overlapping each other in
the "detail" section of the report. I can't figure
out why. I have reloaded the data base, found an old
copy of the pagemode file and tried it, still no luck.

I was told to try putting the line setting after
setting pagemode on, that didn't help either.

This is the section of the pagemode file that is
messing up.

  WRITE .vtrdate AT &vline,2
  WRITE .vtrdate AT &vline,11
  WRITE .vpos AT &vline,20
  WRITE .vtos AT &vline,23
  WRITE .vcptcode AT &vline,27
  WRITE .vservice=7 AT &vline,36
  WRITE .vdigch AT &vline,44
WRITE .vchprice AT &vline,53 USING '[>]$9,999.00'
  WRITE .vcptunits AT &vline,64

This is what the detail part of the report looks like.
 10/07/02 10/07/02 721Xray BO SA 1 $80.00 D

 10/07/02 10/07/02 989CMT 1 $40.00 A

 10/07/02 10/07/02 970Elec sc St 1 $25.00 A

 10/09/02 10/09/02 989CMT 1 $40.00 A

 10/09/02 10/09/02 970Elec sc St 1 $25.00 A

 10/15/02 10/15/02 989CMT 1 $40.00 A

You can see the middle cols are over lapping.

This is what it should look like/

Any suggestions would be appreciated
Marc
