Tom, David, I just recently did this for a bill of material program by creating a temporary table. I zip thru the main table picking up the level and depending on the level I create a line with so many blanks + the row I read, then write it to the temporary table, so the row is actually indented in the temp table. The report is based on the temporary table sorted by partno, level and walla it comes out indented. If you would like to see my macro, email me privately [EMAIL PROTECTED]
