I am on deep water! Bill Gates has opinions But for me I say this!
If you go for XP do not do an upgrade ! Do format c: and then install!
R:Base and Bill Gates are not always friends so go for a clean install
on XP and most things works OK!
Says a friend who loves R:Base since 1984 (and version 4000)and hates
B--- G--
By the way go for XP or 2000 all the others does nor exist in maybe 6
months

Upgrading to a newer laptop from an old Win 98. Which windows would you
recommend? Seems to be a lot of bumps in the road in XP (pro and home
edition?).
Since most of my users are on a LAN, would it make sense to install NT
on
the Laptop?

TIA,

Dennis
