My personal way around this is to define any variables that are passed to the form at 
the top of the var list.

SET VAR vDate1 DATE = .vDate1
SET VAR vDate2 DATE = .vDate3
SET VAR vYourNameIs TEXT = 'Albert' -- Some days I need this
