Folks,

Among many Enhancements, Bug-Fixes and New Commands, the
upcoming final long-awaited patch-3, also includes some
GOODIES for our lovely VB users/developers across the world.

Using the new WinUDF function in R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++),
Build: 1.861xRT03 and higher, all VB users can run their
customized VB Scripts to return any parameter(s) into their
R:BASE command/application or at the R> prompt:

Simple Example:

SET VAR vTestA = (WinUDF('wscript.exe scrudf.vbs','The Power!'))

SET VAR vTestB = (WinUDF('wscript.exe scrudf.vbs','Oh Yes!'))

Now, think about the possibilities!

Yes, WinUDF function is the result of "Working Together" with
the RBTI Dream Team!

Remember, if you can dream it ... you can do it. But, you MUST
dare to dream.

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.

P.S. Long-Awaited Patch-3 will be FREE update for ALL users
of R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++), Build:1.851xRT03 and higher.

P.P.S. More examples of using WinUDF and VB Scripts will be
supplied with the release version.
