I am an IBM business partner. As such, I always have for my own use, an IBM desktop or two. I try to sell IBM servers and desktops and laptops to my customers, with R:Base loaded (my value add). R:base runs fine on IBM equipment. What little trouble I have had was quickly solved by a phone call to IBM support. Support is quick to answer and respond. Replacement parts are sent next day air at IBM's expense.
I could say more in behalf of IBM and their equipment, but nuff said Bernie Lis Megabytes, Inc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis McGrath" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, November 23, 2002 5:09 PM Subject: RE: A sad story > I was in error, IBM laptops are great.
