Nancy -

I have program that does just that. It prints past due letters, and the
signature is based on the account representation within the division.
Here's how it works:

1. Create your letter with a variable defining the name of the signature
file.  Mine is:
rSig = ('C:\Sig.bmp, dmStretch')

2. Place this variable on the report and set the variable properties to
Custom/Blob Draw

3. Then, I have saved each of the appropriate signature files with the name
of the division - ie. "NE.bmp" for the Northeast division, "SE.bmp" for the
Southeast division, and have stored these files in the same folder as the
working application.

4. Next, in my command file, I get the DivisionID into a variable, .vDivid
then,
SET V vFilename = (.vDivid + '.bmp')
COPY .vFileName c:\SIG.bmp
PRINT report WHERE DivID = .vDivid

That way, the report is always reading the file from the local drive and
there is no conflict in a multi-user setting.
