New topic in Networking: Secure Socket -> Download Progress File Size Problem?
x11joex11 - Sat Mar 29, 2008 4:45 pm <http://forums.realsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=14514> I am trying to download the zip file for expiring domains from snapnames.com. While this works via the SHTTP socket, it does not work in the way I intended. For example, when downloading the file to check it's progress I can't seem to get the file size. It's value when I check as it's downloading is just '?'. If I try other sites with the regular httpSocket it seems to be able to download zip files and tell me it's file size. As for the SHTTP Socket, I can see the bytes transferring as digits, but I can't find out the max size. Is this a bug? Or perhaps is snapnames blocking the filesize information? If so how might I be able to get the file size of the file I'm downloading while it's downloading. Thanks! Much Appreciated for any help. - Joe _________________ -=Domain Finder=- -- Over 900 classes with 18000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in.
