New topic in Getting Started: launching executable from within application

I want to stream files using tcpsocket in the background while being able to operate controls (pushbuttons, sliders, etc.) in the main window. Can this be done? 2. How can I launch another executable application from within the main application. (I was able to accomplish the task in number one above by creating two applications and launching them separately.) 3. Can two applications be bundled into one application? -- Over 900 classes with 18000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in.
