New topic in Announcements: Studiometry 5.1 Adds iCal Syncing and Over 50 Other Updates

Studiometry is the best, most complete solution for companies to organize, plan, invoice, track and create with Client and Project data. Studiometry 5.1 adds over 50 updates, enhancements, features, and bug fixes. This update is available immediately for download from our website and is free for all registered users of Studiometry 5.x. New in Studiometry 5.1 is the ability to sync to and from iCal. Previous versions of Studiometry could post calendars to iCal, but would not receive any changes made in iCal or other programs that modified iCal items. Now, editing an item in Studiometry or iCal will immediately sync the data to the other application, and Studiometry can even receive updates to tasks and events made on a PDA or mobile phone synced with iCal. Several other features have also been added to Studiometry 5.1. Users with Studiometry networks spanning multiple time zones will see greatly improved network syncing behaviors with the addition of relative Time Zone support. Studiometry will automatically calculate the difference between the client and server machines and adjust item times accordingly, giving a more consistent behavior for networks with computers connecting remotely over the internet. This update also adds several ways of dealing with Invoice/Client/Project ID behaviors. Additional options are now available for the setup of ID numbers, and more tools have been added for dealing with overlapping ID numbers and other issues. The Invoice ID Management tab of the Invoice tracker gives users the power to easily view and fix any ID numbering issues. Other additions in this update include a fix for Address Book syncing on Mac OS X 10.5, several new options for custom summaries, numerous new tags for Invoice and Report templates, and much more.
