Hello everyone,

I post this on the general forum and not in the games section on purpose,
because it is obvious to me that 3D accelerated graphics are being used more
and more outside the game industry. Does anybody know why such a great
development tool as RealBasic keeps lacking a serious graphics engine ? Seems
that things are getting worse and worse after each update : the current
version, for example, deprecates RB3D, but worst of all : it breaks
compatibility with crossplatform OpenGL declares that had been working pretty
well for years. And all these changes occur without any warning from Real
Software to their users, whose apps simply won't compile anymore after they
upgrade to RB 2008 R2.

Were are we going ? Are they preparing us a great surprise (like OGRE3D
compatibility in September...) or should we simply leave the boat if we want
modern graphics for our apps ?
