New topic in General: Canvas Size
wcboyd - Wed Jun 11, 2008 9:06 am <http://forums.realsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=22853> Hello All, I am learning to work with the canvas class and I have a couple questions. 1) How do I either set the max size for the canvas (x & y) or make the size dynamic so that "in theory" the user never reaches the end of the canvas when moving along either the X or Y axis (yes, I know x=1, y=1 is the top left corner and you can't move "negatively"). 2) I have not seen any threads (of course I could have missed them) about zooming in / out on a canvas and proportioning the objects accordingly. How might I do this? 3) What is the best way to draw a border around said canvas? Nothing fancy, just a thin black line. I will be adding scroll bars to this, but I have seen a couple examples of how to do that floating around. _________________ Thanks, Craig -------- "Stress is the body's way of saying you have not worked enough unpaid overtime." ~ Scott Adams -- Over 900 classes with 18000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in.
