Posts: 43 Is there any easy way to maintain images in my project
that work on both macintosh and windows? I have a splash screen which uses a
static image to display when running. I dragged the .gif into my IDE and set
it as the backdrop of the canvas control (so no code at all, just IDE stuff)
and it displays fine in windows but not macintosh. From reading it looks like
I need to convert the .gif to a .pict in order to set it as the backdrop of my
canvas and I believe I cannot do this through the UI. Additionally my windows
builds complain when I have a .pict in my IDE so I'm a bit frustrated. I have
a feeling there's something simple I'm missing here. I was able to import a
.png file as my icon and that works fine on both platforms. Any help would be
appreciated.
