I don't mean two computers on the same LAN, I mean two (or more) computers on a WAN [ie. the Internet]. Basically setup a game or chat type network. Obviously the IP information would need to be known to all computers involved. On a LAN all the computers are inside the firewall so their IP is known or discoverable [usually 10.xx.xx.xx], but that IP address isn't known outside the firewall, and it would be assumed that all the users I am looking at are on a router or some other device. And I don't want to have each user have to configure a port..... I am looking for an easy to implement situation if possible. Preferably where everyone gives their IP to one user whose computer then forwards all the rest of the IP information back to all other users to make the connections. _________________ Dave Sisemore MacPro, RB2008r3.1 Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 900 classes with 18000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in.
