I've noticed that, on 99% of Mac apps (including the RB IDE, btw), making some
change to a document puts a little black dot in the middle of the close button.
Some Internet research reveals that that's a "dirty" flag that warns the user
of unsaved changes - testing that research confirms it.
However, I have no idea how to implement this in my own code - as has been
heavily debated over the past few weeks, RB apps should look like "native"
apps, so I'd really like to do this... any ideas?
I have 2 ideas to start off with:

1. Use an AppleEvent
2. Use an API call or a series of API calls

however, I have no clue which (maybe both?) idea is correct or how to implement
it... any thoughts?

Thanks!
