Location: USA I'm using REALbasic 2008r5 in a Ubuntu 8.10 VM
(using VMWare Server for the VM) and a Windows XP SP2 host. So far, I've been
unable to get ANY projects to run in the Ubuntu VM; REALbasic just displays the
message that "The application has not connected to the IDE". I figured out that
it's probably a network problem, but my virtual network is good - the same
virtual network setup works for a Windows XP VM.
Any ideas on how to fix this? It's really driving me crazy as I badly need RB
on the Ubuntu system...

Thanks!
