I am a graduate student looking at purchasing REALbasic for the development of
programs for human studies. One of the key features that I need is the ability
to time how long it takes someone to click a button (or radio button) after a
previous button click. These are not speed tests, just tests to determine the
length of time someone spends thinking about a question.

Can REALbasic create timers that will do this, at what sensitivity level can
the timers record (i.e. seconds or miliseconds), and can the results of the
recorded time be kept in a database or exported for use in another program?

I've had a couple of weeks to work with the software and try to read through
some of the documentation but haven't seen anything related to this yet. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.
