Posts: 9 Could someone get me starting writing a scripting
language. I think it would be neat to have my own language. I don't want to
have something too complex, however i would like the user to be able to build
the program and turn it into a stand-alone .dmg app. I am on a mac running
REALbasic2009 r4 and realbasicpro2007r3.
Please help and thanks in advance

Location: San Diego, CA Can you be more specific?
Are you talking a scripting language to control another application?
Like AppleScript?

Or a full blown programming language? If so, RB probably isn't your best tool,
unless you are doing it simply for an educational exercise.

And then you also need to decide..... a full compiler? an interpreter? what
special niche is it going to fill that some other language doesn't already
exist for?
