Posts: 45 OK, just 3 days left of my trial. I'd love it if some
of you can share some screenshots of apps that were designed with RealBasic.
I'd like to see if a design such as this
http://www.iggsoftware.com/images/ibank/screenshots/cover_flow.jpg can be
created in RB. iTunes like interfaces?

I want to see some "stunning" apps made with RB.

Thanks!

I'm currently working on a new interface for my application called iTubeX
Ultimate, an audio and video downloader.
It is going to look like this:

Best regards,

Posts: 190 Using declares, you can make transparent and custom
shaped windows in REALbasic. While not written in REALbasic and example of the
type of window you can create is the custom editor window for Apple's
GarageBand, the speech window for the Apple Chess app (shows up as a little
round window widget), the mini view for iTunes, the Controller window for Apple
DVD... and so many other possibilities.

Almost any GUI design is possible to create with REALbasic, although the most
custom it is the more work it will require (which is true for any programming
environment). The disadvantage is that REALbasic may not have a few of the
more unique OS X UI design elements, and sometimes takes a little while to
update UI elements (like in the case of Unified Toolbar it took a little while
for REALbasic to catch up). But you make up for those disadvantages because
you can progress MUCH faster in the initial stages of your project than most
other programming environments, and the fact that REALbasic can compile
cross-platform means you have a potential new market available once you
fine-tune your app for that target.

Basically anything is possible if you can imagine it and dedicate the work to
see it through.
