I wonder if anyone with a deep knowledge of windows api can help me out.

I'm trying to find a way to perform a wallpaper change that includes the
Windows 7 64Bit blend through. I've been doing a lot of digging around the
internet and haven't found much of anything.

I'm currently using Windows Functionality Suite to perform the traditional
instant change but I can't find anything that might get Windows 7 to perform
the blend instead. One website hinted at IActiveDesktop Interface but I
couldn't work out how to call that in RealBasic (2009r4).

Can any help?

Also, is there a way to detect Windows 7? I tried one of the Monkeybread
plugins but it returns (Windows Vista build 7600) or something similiar; so I
think that may need updating.
