Posts: 8              Hi,
Is it possible to test individual bits of a byte, I have a PIC microcontroller 
and I send the status of one of the ports as a byte, what I then want to do is 
to mimic the 8 outputs with objects (not sure which type yet, probably just 
circles to mimic LED) so they show red or green individually depending on their 
state.

Location: San Diego, CA              Yup.... use the BITWISE functions... 
simple BOOLEAN Algebra... AND .... OR  etc.
