Posts: 29 Hi, I am using a mysql dbase & i have one field that
fills itself with weird characters after a dataset is updated.
I am not making any edits to the field at all but it still changes itself.
example: starting text: 6=.21 6500 M=6145 JSI/P1 then i press an update
button using the rsedit syntax.
The text changes itself to: 6=.21 6500 M=6145 JSI/P1.

There are other text fields in the recordset but none of these suffer the weird
characters being inserted.

What is the character between the 21 and the 6500 in "6=.21 6500"?

I bet it is not a space in the original text..
