I have problems regarding pictures management on Fedora 11 OS.
I have developed an application under Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5. On several
forms I have pictures on canvas and image wells. I imported the pictures in the
project (they are all jpg format).
The project is working fine.
I take the same project and work on Real Basic under Fedora 11.
First of all the canvas/image wells are empty.
When I run on debugging mode, Real Basic says that it is not possible to
convert the jpg image to BMP.
Ok no problem, I delete the images, import the equivalent BMP files and assign
to canvas/image well.
Now the canvas/image wells properly display the loaded picture.
However when I run in debug mode and access to some of the forms with the
pictures the application suddenly close (no error, just close).
Can anyone help me?Thanx

P.S.
I have the same behavoir if I create a new project directly under Fedora 11

Posts: 1062 I have the same issue.
I tracked it down to the BMP files themselves.. Somehow one of the apps I used
to save the files saved them as JPG or GIF, but with a BMP extension.
They arent really BMP format.

On Mac and Windows, RB just gets on with it and works.
Under Linux, it crashes without an error message.
