When the user presses update on the editor window, I want to enable a menuitem in the main window. How can I access this menu, without attaching it to the editor window. I have tried attaching it, and tried to set the visible property to false, but it still shows up. _________________ Regards Paul Windows 7 32bit RB 2009 5.1 Top pbart Post subject: Re: access a menuitem from another WindowPosted: Sun Jan 31, 2010 3:31 am Joined: Sat Oct 10, 2009 6:40 am Posts: 61 OK I sorted it. I created a method in the main window to enable the menuitem, then accessed the method from the other window. _________________ Regards Paul Windows 7 32bit RB 2009 5.1 Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
