One is submitting articles to ezine articles. I'd like to figure out how to program the task of going to Ezine, logging in, performing an article submission and then logging off. Now, I have the following tasks to handle: 1. Session cookies. Seems that ezine has a pretty complex session handling. 2. Dealing with javascript. 3. Reading the page to either confirm a submission or to record errors found on a page. 4. Possible handling of capcha's - present to the user for completion. I am very new to realbasic, and yes, this is probably way beyond beginner level, but I did work with script automation software and kept coming up against dead ends. If you can help that would be awesome. Thanks very much, Frank Top DaveS Post subject: Re: Learning the ropesPosted: Mon Feb 08, 2010 6:34 pm Joined: Sun Aug 05, 2007 10:46 am Posts: 2048 Location: San Diego, CA #4. Handling capchas.... That is the reason those exist is to keep automated systems out. While they can be beaten [look a Yahoo chat rooms sometime]... its not easy, and certainly not something that would or should be discussed on this forum. _________________ Dave Sisemore MacPro, OSX 10.5.8 RB2009r5.1 Note : I am not interested in any solutions that involve custom Plug-ins of any kind Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
