Posts: 4 Hey I kind of need to remote debug on a system i'd
rather not install a GUI (ubuntu server) if at all possible. Is there a
console only mode remote debugger stub or am I SOL and need to buck up and
install a GUI?
If I do have to install a GUI what is the min GUI requirement? Like can I get
away with like just install a minimal XFCE to do the trick? Please don't tell
me I have to install KDE 4.

Thanks in advance!

Posts: 4 just to note: I have exhausted google searching for RB
linux library requirements for GUI and console mode remote debugger stub,
before posting.
I may have not put in the magic search keyword term but I definitely did not
post before looking.

Location: Canada, Alberta, Near Red Deer Quite possibly the same
requirements as listed at
<http://www.realsoftware.com/realbasic/requirements.php>
The debug stub uses a full UI because its how you configure it

thanks! I still don't see where its linked in the website and it didn't show up
for me in google searches.

I do realize the default debugger stub uses a GUI. I have used it a lot since
its first release.
My question is are there any modes on it or a different version that is 100%
CLI.
If not it would be cool if they would make one. There isn't a whole lot to
configure after all and it would be simple to have it command line switch
specified or use a ini or xml file for its configuration.
Guess it would be pointless for everyone but the Linux folks though.
